A minor diversion this Summer for A9 northbound traffic

How to get to Milton of Fonab Caravan Park, Bridge Road, Pitlochry, PH16 5NA from 15th June 2026 onwards.

Milton of Fonab Caravan Park  lies to the south of Pitlochry, just off the main A9 road from Perth to Inverness. Pitlochry is 27 miles North of Perth and 86 miles South of Inverness and is well sign-posted.

Driving from the South

The A9 Pitlochry slip road will be closed for repairs. There is a diversion in place.

Continue along the A9 and follow the diversion signs up to the Faskally Turn Off at the far end of Pitlochry, then take a left and drive under the Road Bridge, then take a further left. This will take you back onto the south bound slip road and onto the A9.

Drive back down the A9 until you get to the slip road for Pitlochry Festival Theatre and follow the road until you reach Milton of Fonab Caravan Park.

Alternatively - Guests can also choose to not take the slip road back onto the A9 south and instead, drive right through Pitlochry and under the railway bridge. Then, take a right turning opposite the Blair Athol Distillery. You will see Milton of Fonab on your left just after you cross the River Tummel.

Driving from the North

Take the second left turning for Pitlochry, which takes you past Pitlochry Festival Theatre on your left, follow the road round and we are straight ahead.

Alternative Route - Take your first left turning for Pitlochry, drive right through Pitlochry, under the railway bridge. Take a right turning opposite Blair Athol Distillery. You will see Milton of Fonab on your left just after you cross the River Tummel.

From Braemar

Follow the signs for Pitlochry.  Turn left on Atholl Road and drive south through Pitlochry, under the railway bridge. Take a right turning opposite Blair Athol Distillery. You will see Milton of Fonab on your left just after you cross the River Tummel.
