We have extended our season and are now taking bookings for 2021
Self-catering businesses remain open to receive guests from one household if existing guidelines are adhered to.
Late last night the Cabinet Secretary for Tourism sent an email to the CEO of the ASSC. Below is an extract from the email making clear this position which is a change to what the ASSC had previously been advised and conveyed to others in the sector the day prior.
“We are so sorry to advise you that following further review of the Scottish Government’s position, our one household restriction for private homes will also apply to self-catering properties when our revised regulations become law on Friday. We realise that this is a change from the information that we were able to give you yesterday, but unfortunately our position has reluctantly had to be updated following further consideration, taking into account key public health considerations, over the course of today”
To re confirm ONLY 1 household is permitted to stay in a self catering property NOT up to 6 persons from 2 households.
This rule also applies to Touring Caravans and Motorhomes.
Self-catering businesses, like others within the tourism and hospitality sector, remain open to receive visitors if existing guidelines are adhered to.
We are fully open for Self Catering Caravans, Touring Caravans, Campervans and Motorhomes.
Also open are our shared facilities including toilets, showers, laundry and dish wash area and our WiFi is available over the whole park.
Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision this year not to accept tents.
We have worked hard to introduce new procedures to ensure the Health & Safety of both our customers and employees are maintained at all times. These are new to us all and there has been a steep learning curve so if something could work better then please don’t hesitate to let us know.
For those who are isolating/shielding or just feel unsure of travelling yet we are offering to reschedule any bookings until later in the season or provide those customers who have a 2020 booking with us Priority Booking for 2021 before our online booking goes live, hopefully in July 2020.
We have introduced a new Emergency Mobile Number 07593920873 to enable you to contact us 24/7 should you show signs of Covid-19.
We look forward to welcoming you all.
