A large bike racing event across Scotland starting it's Journey in Perth and Highland Scotland. The prestigious road cycling championships is part of the first multi-discipline UCI Cycling World Championships.
The event takes place on 4th August starting at Perth where the cycle route makes it's way North and travels through Pitlochry. This means there are some road closure's in place to ensure the safety of cyclists and members of the public.
Although it is not going to impact us directly there will be no access to the north access slip road between 12.15pm and 4.15pm on the day of the road race or access over the Braemar Road until after 5pm.
If you are staying with us or visiting Pitlochry on this date, you may want to plan for an alternative route during these times.
